The family traditions that I would like to see passed between my husband and me to our children all revolve around Christmastime. My parents have always given my sister and me a present to open on Christmas Eve, and I believe that is a tradition that I would love to continue with my future children. Another great tradition I want to pass along is the painting of Christmas cookies a couple of weeks before Christmas. My grandma has started the tradition with her kids, and since her children have had children (my cousins) we all get together one weekend to paint sugar cookies and allow them to bake. Every year when I was in elementary school my grandma would make enough cookies so I could bring them to my class Christmas party at school.

Hawaiian Honeymoon Fun

Because I have never been married, I have never been on a honeymoon. But as I begin to think about planning a wedding with my boyfriend for when we get engaged, I think it would be a lot of fun to go to Hawaii. My boyfriend’s sister and her husband went to Hawaii for ten days whenever they got married, and I think that it would be such a fun time, especially if you go during the spring or the fall whenever it is a little more chilly in our part of the country. It would be absolutely beautiful and breathtaking to be there on the beach with the clear blue water and see all the different sights.

Meaningful Achievements Bring Happiness

I believe my greatest achievement ties between two. I think that it is a great achievement for people to graduate from college, but I felt like it was a relatively easy process for me. But above that, if I had not graduated from college with a teaching degree, I am not sure that I would be able to have such an impact on high school students. I enjoy meeting with them and building relationships with them so that I can share the love of God with them. That is my greatest accomplishment: seeing God use me in the lives of others.

Dogs Are Not Children

Whenever I see people walking around with animals with any sort of clothes on, it sickens me. All I can think is, “do you people really think these animals LIKE this crap?” Anytime I’ve ever seen anyone attempt to dress an animal, it struggles. If fights. Once the clothes are on, it gnaws at the garment, attempting to remove it. I have even seen a dog rip through the clothes with its teeth just to get them off. Unlike humans, animals have fur. They already have the clothes nature provided. Simply, dogs do not need clothes. Dog clothes are unnecessary. Also, typically the only people that regularly dress their dogs are the people that also treat them sickeningly similar to the way one might treat a small child – only more sickening.
