I am type-A. I don’t do well sitting down. I like to move and be outside so my hobbies include lots of those things. One of my hobbies is white water rafting. I like rivers that have lots of rapids and I especially like it when I can help paddle the raft. I usually do multi-day trips so when we are done traveling for the day we get to set up camp and go hiking. Perfect for me! Another hobby is gardening. I know that doesn’t sound like a type-A thing, but it can be. I have to move dirt around, water plants, pull weeds whack trees or bushes that are overgrown… you get the idea. An added benefit is that I’m outside. Lastly, let’s talk about camping. Outside to the extreme and I generally go where there is either a lake or river. Hiking is high on the list as is walking around the camp seeing what is there. As one of my rafting guides said – ‘You can sleep when you die’. That works for me!
