My past week has been quite an interesting one, certainly a notable one. It started off with having my offer accepted on a house, so suddenly I have the real possibility of becoming a first time buyer – that is both an exciting and terrifying prospect usually, but even more so in the current economic climate. This has triggered off a chain of phone calls, filling in forms, etc , so it has also been a busy week – but it a good way. I have been waiting for this time to come for years as I have saved up a deposit, so I guess I also feel very proud. I’m trying to keep my excitement and thoughts about buying new furniture under control under we have the keys in our hands, though! The credit crunch was horrible to us last year, so hopefully things will be better for us from now on.
