Adventures at Ikea

Last weekend a friend and I decided to make the trip to the Ikea in our state. I really enjoy the store and he’d never been there before. He found a couple items on the website that he wanted to check out. We found a gorgeous coffee table, it was a light wood with several cubbyholes underneath that you could store boxes or baskets in. He also found a stepstool that he needed. Both items were in the self serve section warehouse part of the store. After browsing through for almost two hours, we headed to the warehouse to get the two items. The stepstool was nowhere to be found, it wasn’t where it was supposed to be. After searching nearby aisles, we gave up. Strikeout number two came when the coffee table’s box was too big to fit in my two door car. Unfortunately my seats don’t fold down. I ended up purchasing 5 chair pads, which when I got home, realized were too big for our chairs. This weekend, we’re planning on a return trip with his car to get the table and hopefully find the stepstool and I’ll return the chair pads. We’re hoping to have better luck with this visit!
