A Restful Sleep

I have three dogs of various shapes and sizes.  Finding large dog beds for these faithful companions has been challenging to say the least.  I caution you to think carefully and really watch your canine before spending a lot of money on dog beds they may decide not to sleep in. Consider first whether you have a digger or not.  Foam-based dog beds don’t hold up well for diggers.  Pieces of the foam can come off and wind up all over the place.  If your dog likes to prop its head up on a pillow on the couch (like mine does), consider a bolster bed.  Orthopedic foam beds work well for arthritic dogs or those that have that potential. Most importantly, the dog beds you select should have washable covers.  Most zip off for easy washing.  While your cover is in the wash, I recommend also hitting the bed itself with a fabric refresher.  Careful selection of your dog beds and good care will insure that it lasts many restful nights to come.
